About
Retired from University of Colorado’s Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, and the National Geophysical Data Center, NOAA, Boulder, Colorado. There I was lead engineer for the Data Access and Software Technology team. MA Mathematics, Denver University.
I’ve left Colorado and retired early from a great career, and moved to the water’s edge. Looking out to sea, only one thing made sense, following a lot of senseless losses. I took a week of sailing lessons and I bought a boat… that was 2006:

Nice blog, Deborah! Isn’t NW Women in Boating and awesome group?
I enjoyed their meetings before we took off, now cruising the Caribbean (blogging about it at http://www.GalleyWenchTales.com & on FB)
We loved sailing Desolation Sound last summer, and especially Toba Inlet, just North of there.
Enjoy!

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I caught up on reading over the holiday season and read some of yours. Makes me want to visit the Carribbean islands I’ve not seen yet. Thanks for your writings….
